Has anyone heard of a 7 tooth steering box with the Ford script?

I've never seen it on mine. I'm sure Ford made the steering though, as Henry liked to keep control over everything, and certainly had the equipment for it.

The Judging Standards say the the 7 tooth are of the Ford design and the 2 tooth are Gemmer design, so I assume that ford make the earlier boxes. The early 1928 fords had a lot of script parts and the script on this box are raised letters so I'm guessing it was casted. The script is about a inch long.

He brought it by yesterday so I could take a photo and it was a two tooth box with the letter F not a ford script. A Gemmer Box. Sorry for the confusion. |
