Default '40 coupe dlx - assembling the grille
assembling the grille: after the grille was assembled, the bottom bolt holes in the side castings did not fit the holes in the bottom thin sheet metal plate.

I loosened all the bolts hoping it would line up and re-tighten. Did not align. Suggestions??? pics would not post.
