Default 1939/40 serial no.
Got this no. on a 1939 sedan delivery title. Anyone know how to decipher? number is 184942274.

That number corresponds to roughly half-way through the 1939 V8-equipped, production sequence.............18-4,661,001 to 18-5,210,700. DD
