Default Horn wire connectors

Hi Guys , my question is are the wire terminal connectors at the horn connection the same as the headlite? I need to reshape the little copper connectors inside the horn to receive the 2 wires from the harness. Thanks for the help. THE HOOCH

No. The headlight wire ends are flat on the ends. I use the bullet-shaped ends that are intended for the press-in sleeve type connectors for the horn. I don’t see any reason that you could not use the flat headlight type ends on the horn, but the bullet shaped ones will be easier to insert.

I’ve also seen bare wires at the horn, but those get a bit messy after several insertion cycles.

Note the bullets enter the connectors from the sides, not from the rear which will distort the horn connectors which will then need to be replaced.

To find a photo of what they look like just go on flea-pay and look as model A Ford horns. Many of them are shown with the cover removed. The copper clips have a gap for the bullet to fit into. New reproduction clips and insulators are available but soldering is required.
