That big glass thing that we all look through to aim the car straight down the road is virtually always spoken-of as a WINDSHIELD, and NOT a window. Those 3-w and 5-w pieces of glass are always referred to as somethink like: driver's window, side window or rear window. Count the WINDOWS! DD

I know it's not an old Ford, but the old and valuable VW 21 window busses included the two windshield pieces in the 21 window count. Guess it all varies depending on time and vehicle.

Sounds like a German thing, they always had to be extremely "precise" in all our dealings; but when they sent a factory mechanic over here to train us on the installation of some of their truck equipment, he used a folding ruler (like grandpa's only metric) instead of a tape measure.

A child that likes old cars and asks questions about them. Now that's just great. Wish there were more kids like that in this day and age.
