Default Powerhouse Generator value?

What is the approximate value of a working Powerhouse Generator?

How good are the brush holder and brushes?
Has the commutator been turned down a lot?
Are there any pits on the case?
Has the mounting bracket been repaired?
Is it restored, or as found?
We need pictures of it, both inside and outside.

I paid $180 and $250 for ones restored with new bearings. Put it on ebay and you will likely get more than $100. Search for completed listings?
Someone paid $430 including shipping for a very nice one recently. The 2nd and 3rd listings are the ones I bought.

I recently paid $100 for a good working Powerhouse, and $200 for one that had been completely 'gone through' with new 'stuff' on the inside. That, I suppose, is some version of 'Restored'. AS many know, 'Restored' has the potential to be a very sloppy word, with a wide range of meanings. But everything looked good and new, and the generator works perfectly. While I was looking for a Powerhouse, I found that a solid restoration from a reputable Powerhouse rebulder seems to go for about $250, give or take $25, depending on any unique or special features.

I bought 2 unrestored, "unknown but rotates" for $75. A P1 and a P3. The P1 had issues and was used to get the P3 running. The P1 now has an alternator from a toyota inside it. I also picked up a "rustball" for $5. I overhauled it for the cost of time and paint only. (although, it still is missing the 3 brush spider, but works when I borrow one)

What's it worth? $0 - 250 depending on condition.....and buyer.
