While changing a tire on my September 28 Tudor, I found the letters "AM C" on the inside near the valve stem hole.
I'm attaching 2 pictures of the same wheel. I never noticed this before. I read in the Judging Standards that some rims had 'HAM' for Hamilton, Ohio and then the suffix C, N, or L' after that. The letter 'H' in the word 'HAM' seems to be missing or too light to be noticed on my rim. Neil Last edited by Neil Mylar LakewoodCA; 05-04-2015 at 09:53 PM. |

All of my 21" wheels have the HAM stamped inside the rims.

It appears to me the stamp is lighter on the left side of the A than for the M. I suspect the H part of the stamp just wasn't aligned well and didn't make an imprint on the rim.

Rusty, I think you are right.
I wonder what the extra suffix meant? Gary, Did your wheels have a suffix? If so, were they all the same suffix? |
