I am installing seat belts in my 29 CC.
Looking basic lap belt with hardware. Does anyone have a vendor recommendation? I am thinking of bolt on instead of snap hook. Thanks, P.S. I have already addressed installation, so not trying to start up another conversation of a well discussed topic. dave |

Places like Pep Bros. used to sell them. If no longer available you may have to go to a racing safety company, like Simpson???

I ordered from Bratton's, as well, and installed in my 28 roadster. I supplied my own hdwe. I posted some pics of my installation her on FB.

I ordered my seat belts from Mac’s. They have them in 60” and 72” length. Glad I ordered them in the longer length. When doing parades, I sometimes have some heavy duty ladies riding with me!!

ordered them from Snyders for both my coupe and pickup, they had a variety of colors to match interiors and they were fairly priced

Andover Restraints
andoauto.com 302-629-8508 They offer a wide selection of seat belts and colors, will send web samples to match interior. We sampled 4 browns to find a good match for our Vicky LB interior. A's Always Dave |

Hi SmogTech,
In thinking solely about Model A Safety: Just in case one (1) of your big heavy Parade ladies tunes into Ford Barn & she reads reply #8 & reply #12, it might be a good idea to hire a substitute driver for your next Parade. On a more serious note ........ he may never know what hit him. ????? |

I'll gladly second these folks-although the OP ordered his belts already, others may find this thread.

Thanks guys! I order and received from Juliano's. Nice folks to work with. Belts are fine. I ordered their backing plates. I was surprised how large and heavy duty they were. I was going to use 2 " angle iron for support but these plates are wider than the 2" angle! I am going to order the retractors for the outboard belt so they do not flop out the door.
