I have a '64 Fairlane 500 with a standard 3spd on the column. I put a 3spd overdrive transmission in it and need a different speedometer cable. 3spd's w/o overdrive take a plastic gear on the end that goes in the tranny to drive the driven gear in the tranny. 3spd O.D. speedometer cables have an end that slides into the tranny w/o a plastic gear. The end of the cable slides into the driven gear in the transmission.
Any thoughts on where to get one? Thanx Matt |

X2 what Streetdreams said. Bob's Speedometer has been around the Detroit area since the 50's that I can remember. Phone#'s 800-592-9673 & 810-632-0400. He has a website that lists all his services.
