Question Antifreeze - OAT vs. IAT

Recent post. I searched the forums but I cannot find a reference to OAT or IAT. Please educate me.

Thanks,

The old type ethylene glycol is Inorganic Acid Technology while the newer stuff is propylene glycol or Organic Acid Technology.

The new stuff is suppose to be more environmentally friendly and not as toxic.

They shouldn't be mixed.
