some of you have been helping me on another thread, but , i thought i'd start another on exhaust. what i have is a 1955 customline 2 door sedan, stock 272 with the stock 3 speed on the column.
what i'm trying to find out is, will duel exhaust manifolds clear the 3 speed shift linkage? i bought a matched set from a 57. they look like there is a chance they might clear, but close. has anybody tried this? |

My 55 came stock with a 272 and duals. It all fits. I replaced the exhaust with parts from Waldron exhaust. Its very heavy wall, very expensive, and its lasting. years later, it still looks and sounds like new. It was money well spent.
