installing choke and throttle cables in 39 Deluxe

Howdy
Does anyone have a diagram or knows any tips how to put
together the links and knobs for the choke & throttle cables coming
Through the dash on a 39 Deluxe? I got the parts from Mac's

But haven't figured out how they go together yet!

any help will be appreciated

Mike, The shorter rods with the bends attach to the knobs on one end and the other end goes through the firewall. The longer rod, with the quick release fitting, attaches to the shorter (bent) rod using the black rubber coupler. The quick release attaches to the carb lever. As I remember, the longer two rods will be slightly different lengths but the bent rods should be the same. Email me at [email protected] and I will send some pictures.

If you have an early '39 with cables, the repop knobs will not accept them. The repop knobs are for the later, rod type linkage. You will need to locate NOS knobs designed for the cables or modify repops.
