In my most recent issue of the Model A News is a great article on advertisements for the non-Ford bodies. There is a very interesting ad for a Martin-Perry slip-on or slip-in pick-up bed and enclosed box for a roadster or coupe. It looks like one would take off the rear trunk/rumble panel and bolt these in. Of course the rear spare would need to be relocated to the fender.
I tried to do an internet search for them and came up with some old photos of commercial trucks, a nice Martin guitar ![]() ![]() Has anyone seen either of these Model A options in real life? Thanks, Vern |
