I used to LOVE the NITRO Car Show, when I lived in West Virginia.
I have photos of the very first one.
It's a really nice show.

For those that don't know, Nitrocellulose used in making ammunition, was made at Nitro, WV during WWI and WWII, hence its name. `Boom Days' is proper. I was really looking forward to the Nitro Boom Days until I saw the forecast, 90°+. I wanted to drive my `35 'Roaster' again, but I just cannot tolerate the heat from within and above. We may drive down but with AC blowing on me. Great bunch of guys in the car club!
