anyone running 15" full size flipper hubcaps on a banjo rear im thinking or running a set on my 46 merc and wonder if they clear axel..thanks oldskool

I have two different pair of them, one fit, the other didn't. They were too shallow. They were both newer repos. If possible, try before you buy.

And if they are going to be covered by skirts and the axles don't clear think about doing what we did back then and what I've seen done today, cut clearance holes in the covers.

This won't answer your question but, with the cars I have skirts on, I just run trim rings (Beauty rings) on the rear wheels.
