I gave up on the connectors that are out there and just soldered bullet ends on both wires and put a connector in. It took a little time but now the lights work (and nobody can tell that I did away with the connectors).

there have been lots of previous comments about these problems and relatively simple solutions that ameliorate them, but we have to know what kind of metal terminal ends you are using, whether the depth of each recess on the little plug is correct, etc.

I'm unclear if you are having trouble with the flex conduit or the sockets/plugs or both.

Thanks for help..are Brattons any better than Snyders 3 prong plugs ? Think I may go with making my own using Model A wire connectors.
