Default 53 f100gear change question

I'm trying to put together a parts list for changing out the rear gear and carrier on my f100. the pinions i'm finding look like they have a 26 spline yoke end. Sorry i'm not sure of the correct language for rear ends. half the time I can barely find my own with both hands. I think the 4851 Flange -universal joint axle end on my pickup had either 10 or 16 splines.
I've never had the pinion out of this and so don't know for sure even what it connects to with the splines. Picture in the parts book doesn't really let me see it. Fortunately all I have to do is order the parts though I hope to take a couple vacation days to watch Mike do this. We'll be doing bearings and seals and everything if I can get around this question of pinion splines.

Thanks for the help.

PS is it worth the extra 60$ for timkin bearings?

Bill

I went ahead and called Randy's ring and pinion, and he actually has the correct yoke for me. I'm impressed sorry for the wasted question. I thought it would be a lot tougher than this.
