Default 49 woodie grill cover

Anyone have some suggestions as to how to fill up the holes someone put in my very rare woodie speaker grill? I'm thinking welding the angle to the straight side would be easiest.

It's not the same as a sedan and I do have a donor grill cover.

Will a Convertible dash have the same speaker grill cover?

I don't know. The difference is that the rear edge is not straight.

The red one is from the woodie:

Tricky business welding those thin sections. How about making a mold and reproducing it using wet layup of fiberglass to make the new pieces and bond them in place?
