Default water Temp gauage on 33 Flathead

This may seem like a dumb question, but where would the sender for a water temp gauage go on a 1933 V8 engine go. There is no area tapped in the head or on the front mounted water pumps.

There are pumps that have a drilled and tapped boss for a temperature bulb. G.M.

Here's the fitting for a mechanical temperature gauge installed in the radiator hose in my '34 Ford pickup.
