Default Missing at idle

My ’28 open cab pickup misses at idle and slightly higher RPM’s. The new Echlin points are set at .020 on all four lobes and the timing is right on. I have never driven the car over 50 (4/11 rear axle) but acceleration is great up to that point and the engine runs smoothly at speed.

Using a gizmo that is sold by the vendors it shows 2000 volts (max on its window gauge). However I can clearly see the miss as the engine stumbles. The Les Andrews book has a lot of answers but I was hoping someone could help to narrow this down given the above information.

Thanks,

Robert
