Default Color for '32 Victoria

A good friend needs to paint his '32 Victoria. Fortunately he is a way off from the application of paint. He and his wife like a picture that shows one all black with white wire wheels. Does anyone know of pictures of Victoria's with the correct colors? Maybe some local clubs web site showing members cars? I know what the correct colors thanks to Dave's excellent book but need something I can use for a side by side comparison with the picture he currently likes.

Your friend really should get the 32 Ford Book from the Early Ford V8 Club, https://www.earlyfordv8.org/store-pr...fm?id=15&pid=2.

"The 1932 Ford Book" was the first resource I turned to when the question came up. Next I checked Google and the web sites for my local club and the national. I didn't find any color photos that I could use to show my friend (and more importantly his wife) what I considered a good color choice. It is hard for most people to go from chips and tables to what a painted car will look like. The book will definitely be the place I recommend my friend look at after he has selected his color(s) and wants to confirm the authenticity of his selection. Your reference to an earlier fordbarn post was exactly what I had in mind. It is excellent. If anyone else has additional examples I would sure appreciate them. Thanks for your suggestions.
