I recently posted a question on Door dimensions. Thanks to all that replied.

Can someone tell me the slant window 4door is that a Briggs or a Murry.
And if both made them how to tell the difference.

The slant window was made by both companies. I think the difference is in the way the nuts were 'caged'. But, someone who is smarter than me will chime in.

Murray door is arched at top of window area, Briggs door window is straight.

All '31 slant windshield bodies/doors were made virtually identical per Henry Ford's spec's. "Arch" was all the same on those. Briggs and Murray both did build them, with the identifying marks being what was stated above about the caged nuts by their maker. Here is a drawing of the mark in my slant sedan. This "bug" can be seen stamped on the sheet metal filler assembly that is found screwed onto the front door's window opening which also uses the D nuts swaged into that piece. other places include the metal cross piece of cowl that the dash rail screws onto and the steel brace ties at rear window wooden frame.
