Default Victoria seat spring

Are the seat springs the same for both sides, or is there a 'left' and 'right'? I'm assuming this is a 'back'(?). Thanks,Bruce

Brubaker, yes the seats are different widths. I can send you some sketches & info about the seats if you wish; send me an address & I will mail it off.

Bruce,
What you have there is the late type introduced approximately May 1931 and found mostly on Steelback Victorias. It was also used on all Convertible Sedans and U.S. built Deluxe Tudors. There is no way for me to tell from the pic for sure but it looks like a passenger seat to me.

In addition to being wider, the bottom wood for the drivers seat is not symmetrical (left side is slightly different from right) about the center axis. The photo is my replacement for a January '31 Leatherback.
The piece being held in-place by the red C clamp is upside down.
