Default Columbia rear end folks vacuum shifter ?

My Columbia electric shifter is mounted vertical below manifold on 30 CCPU..should it be sideways instead of up and down ? problem is ..it keeps shifting down out of Hi gear by itself..about 35 MPH it will shift down and jerk on its own without any signal from OD switch on dash..see pics....sc

You might post this question over on the V8 forum as they are more familiar with the Columbia differential.

1. Ray is correct....try the V8 forum...
2. Also, there is a Columbia rebuilder in the San Diego area that did
a good job on a friends 32,...with a Columbia.
