Default Early 1928 Model A

How can you tell a early model a 1928 from a late 1928 model A? vin#is a341574.

If memory serves correct the serial would be about sept 28 I think you could look it up at Pluck's web site in the sticky post at forum beginning.

Get a copy of the MARC/MAFCA Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards and learn all about it.

Early is usually Jan.-April;
Mid is usually May-August;
Late is usually Sept.-December

Except for the 1927 Model A's which I think are considered Very Early 1928.

First of all, your Coupe is a Special Coupe, which would put it sometime after June of 1928.

It should be an August of 28. Is this the block number?
For that month,...the hood, radiator shell, front brake actuators
and the front fenders aren't correct......do you have more photos?

The headlamp lenses are for the TWOLITE system, which came out in February 1929, and the horn is a JC Whitney aftermarket, just like the one that someone put on my 29 Tudor. All 28's had fluted lenses.
