Default Shock absorber link ball seats (A-18060)

Couple of questions...

1. Were the original seats made of brass or bronze?

2. Would you rather use the brass/bronze seat or would you go with the teflan type seats.

Thanks.

Pluck

Everything I own has been switched over to the teflon cups. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems that the A is a little quieter.

Steve
I`m not sure if they are brass or bronze, I have a lot of original & NOS seats. but around 20 years ago I put a set of Teflon seats in my Victoria and they are still in good shape today. so most of the time I use Teflon anymore. I assemble the links with a little bit of grease just to keep things inside from getting rusty inside and never grease them again.
