Default Clutch inspection cover

I have the early 28 aa that has the multi disc clutch 3 speed transmission. It also has the parking brake on the left side of the driver. I pulled the floor up and noticed that someone took a flat inspection cover and welded a piece of approximately 1" strip of metal on a angle to cover this clutch inspection hole. Can someone tell me or show me what should be on this truck . I am trying to clean up the mess someone made of our truck. Thanks Billy

The cover on the far left is for the multiplate clutch housing. The middle one came next, then a short time later the vents were added.

The AA 4 speed clutch housing had a square cover, and I can't find mine to take a picture of it.

No, that's the first style for the single plate clutch.

Billy,

Have you tried Bert's in Denver, CO?

They have tons of original parts for the Model A and may be able to help you out there as well as the guys on the barn.
