Hi,
So is the Town Sedan back where it belongs, on the street..! The car was approved by the authorities, and then I could get number plates on .. But they are not correct for the time when the car was new .. This is something that can take up to 8 -10 weeks before I can get the originale black plates with white letters ..Sorry for pure Picture, my camera was not correct that day. ![]() Last edited by plind; 08-24-2013 at 12:30 AM. |

Your barn find in Denmark was a great thread, what a fantastic find, and even better now that you have it out on the road and in the public eye. Man what a beautiful Town Sedan!

Is it early 1930 with early dash or late 1930 with wider ribbed dash.
Have a Briggs Town Sedan also -- late 1930 -- spare in wheel well on passenger side -- no spare on back -- have metal trunk -- Mr. Crabtree, (notorious Model A pop-out switch restorer), says it is August 1930 according to the pop-out switch key number. Nice riding car, & large enough to travel with extra passengers. |

Per,
Good to see that you're on the road ! Please post new photos when you get the correct plates. Denmark has the nicest looking antique plates that I know of ! |

Your car looks too nice to restore. They are only original once.It. Will get more attention at car shows than a fully restored one. What a great find!

I agree! I would just fix what needs fixing and leave the rest alone. It's a very nice car and to have survived the war.

It will be like it is now.. I keep so original as posible, it needs new tire, and roof.. lot of big holes in the old material, so water will go inside the car if it rains...I will NOT paint the car, and the car have ALL the orig. steel and there have NEVER been welding on any place on the car.. So thats why i keep it that way, as you mentioned.: The car can only be original once....

Cool, I had a VW with Trafficators once. Not very common on this side of the world. Nice car. Enjoy it. I too would fix the holes, keep it safe, (Tires, Brakes) and then try to wear it out by driving it. Take it to a cruise night and see how much attention it gets. Have Fun!
