Default 40 clutch problem:

My car had been sitting for about a month and when I started to crank it it started moving with the clutch pressed to the floor.I shut it off and put the transmission in neutral.I then cranked up and would not go in any gears for grinding with clutch depressed.I finally cranked in reverse gear as it moved. The problem then went away and all is fine now???? Could the clutch stick???New clutch, pressure plate and all replaced about 10,000 miles back.Anyone seen this or have ideas on this problem and what I should do?

I'll bet you problem does not re-occur unless you let the car sit awhile. James

stuck clutch, you do not say how humid it is where you live, but lately this has been a problem with local cars/tractor because of the heavy rains

When I store my cars for a length of time I block the pedal down. I have had only one clutch stick in my life. That was one too many.
