If some one has a picture or good description of how and where they set up the anchoring places and materials for this style car especially for the belts in the center of the seats. I would like to retain the adustable feature in the front.

When I installed mine in 2010, I drilled 4 holes in the vertical piece of the front seat frame.
Some people will NOT agree with this but, this was the easiest way to install the belts. This way you can adjust the seat and not worry about the belt movement. The ones for the back seat were installed bolted to the bottom of the floor almost at the back of the body. Also drilled 4 holes. In both locations used large 2" or 3" diameter washers to backup the holes. |

Do NOT attach them to the seat frame. That is not wise the 8 small nuts that hold the seat to the rails will pull rapidly during a minor accident allowing the seat to help crush you. You would be better off without seat belts for most accidents at any speed.
The belts must be mounted to the steel sub-rails with some doublers or the frame. You must put the bolts in shear, which means running the belts rear ward some. I cut a square hole in the middle of my seat frame and then lined the hole with slotted brake line to make a nice round edge. I have a wood silled cabriolet so how I mounted the belts will not be he same as your situation. |

The last page addresses your center location question. Seat moves easily, belts bolted to floor. |
