Where do you go to find how many built ?

I have a customer with a Mustang Mach I 229 CJ . I remember the 70 Cougar Eliminators being very rare as I worked in a dealership when they were new . Yes, I had to scrape the assembly stickers off, install a radio hubcaps , etc and finally state inspect them . This is a 429 CJ with no A/C, 8trk A/M , that unto it self was a rarity ..........
