Is there any fabric between the running board and the frame or is the runningboard bolted directly to the frame? 35 Ford.

On some I have found some thin anti-squeak and on others nothing.

I had fender welting material between running boards and frame on the last '35 that I disassembled. One continuous piece from rear fenders, between running boards and frame, up to the grille on front fenders.

Alan-
When I bought my '35 (it had 19K original miles), it had fender welt between the board and the frame just like John described. Tom |

Drake sells this for 35-40 Fords. Don't know if it's authentic. Part # 91A-5010-C.
