Gentlemen,
Do the roadster kickpanels use a philips head or slotted(straight) head screws with chrome collars? Somone used a mixture of both on mine. Richard/Maine |

There were no phillips head screws used on the A.I'm not sure when phillips head came into use anywhere.I think what you need are slotted oval head screws,but the judging standards will tell you for sure.

This a better question than it seems. The Phillips head screw was invented in the early 1930's with automotive production in mind (thanks Google). I would guess that would be post Model A production. I don't use 'em on my A or T. Slotted head screws are getting tougher to find around here.
