Carb Tester

I want to build a carb float level bench tester. Do any of y'all have one you could post pictures?

That won't really work for flowing jets.

I used a glass jar. Someone just did that and posted a photos of it zip tied to the jar.

There is an article in the May/June 2019 MAFCA Restorer on page 12-13 on how to build a test stand. Leaves some info out and is not too good, but a place to start.

I used this tester this afternoon to set the fuel level in my Zenith-2 carb. It works well and is easy to use. I discovered I had the float set way too low - I had 3 washers under float valve - removed 2 of them, and the fuel level was perfect.

With one shim - was the float solder line level, angled down, or angled up when upper carb/float is upside down, when compared to the upper half of the carb?



Think I read somewhere it should be level.
