Default Trans removal 34 ford 4 door

Hello all

I'm a rookie when it comes to old fords

I'm in the process of pulling my engine and trans

My question is how is the trans mounted to the frame?

My cradle is caked with dirt and oil and I can't seem to figure what I unbolt

Also do I need to support the rear and torque tube so I can roll the car around

Or could I just pull the engine and leave the trans in place since I will be using a different trans anyway

The trans is mounted at the rear by two bolts, they are on the rear of the trans on the steel cased rubber mount, support the torque tube by a rope or similar when moving it around.

Remove the trans tunnel/cover inside the car at the floorboard. Under there you will see the 2 large bolts that mount the rear of the trans to the frame/crossmember.
