Anyone know of a good source for ring and pinion gears for a 1949 shoebox?
Thanks in advance for any info. |

The old 49 thru 56 ford rear axles are getting harder to source hard parts for. There are still good used parts & maybe NOS out there but you will have to do some digging to find them. You'll have to look for a set of gears due to matching of parts.

I have a nos set of 3.78 I think , need to check. Still in original ford box.
39 to 11 making it 3.54 ratio. Last edited by my4dv8; 04-03-2017 at 10:59 PM. |
