Default Where Can I get a condenser for a late 1936 dist coil?

Does anyone know who sells the condenser for the Late 1936 Ford distributor Coil(two screw mount) ?

I have looked at Mac's and C&G

Try Mac Vanpelt's ken ct. Same one for 34-36. ken ct.

Beware of NOS condensers, the majority of them leak and are no good after some 50-60 years. Doc Shul gave a very impressive seminar on old condensers several years ago. I sent him 10 to test, only 1 was good.

I have learned that the hard way myself. The New ones Mac's and places are selling don't cut it either. I have tested all the ones I have had and thrown away the bad. Just last week I had one go bad on my 33 and for craps and giggles I tried one from Mac's and it would barely fire up, installed a NOS one and shizzam back in business.

Joblot Automotive, 800-221-0172, www.joblotauto.com, has late '36 condensers (2 screw) PN, 68-12300 in their catalog.

Send me a picture, I replaced the 39-41 distributor with the correct one for my late 36, but my late 36 has a screw mounted coil. I may have the condenser and coil you need.
