34 Car and Pickup Wheelbase
Is there a wheelbase length difference in the car and 1/2 t pickup?
If not, are the chassis the same? |

Re: 34 Car and Pickup Wheelbase
Wheelbase is the same. They should interchange.Maybe a few differences in hole location for runningboards etc.Pass cars have inner fender panels,Pickups do not.I am sure others will chime in.

Frames are the same, except bolt holes for mounting bodies and front fenders are different

Re: 34 Car and Pickup Wheelbase
Differences have been posted in the past. I think Richard EV8G might be the 'authority' on this. Yes, basic chassis/frame is same, but a bunch of holes are different, as noted above. I once thought of using a car frame for a pickup - changed my mind when I saw what I had to do.
You might try a search on this - the same topic, and Richard, ought to pop up. JMO |

Re: 34 Car and Pickup Wheelbase
P/U in my avatar is on a car frame. look for the two sets of three running board mounting holes on the car frame. A quick way to tell the difference.
