Default AA U-joint Lock Ring

I dissassembled a AA u-joint last night as a lost resort to try to free it up. It had decent monement along one axis, but after trying deveral different things over the last 3 weeks it still took a 12" crecent to get movement on the other axis. In the proccess of dissassembly 2 of the lock rings broke. Are there any replacements for these or is it best to make them from piston pin lock rings? The piston pin lock rings have a very simular arch and very little difference in the wire size. Thanks Rod

I have tried several times in the past to register, but can not read the security code and refresh it too many times in the attemp, but still can not read it. Maybe I am too color blind. Rod

Was running out of time before work today, so went ahead and made them from the piston lock rings. Worked out well. All assembled and ready for years of good service. Rod

I am working on this U-joint to sell. I hate selling junk. Still working on the delivery some, but with my job ending soon, just trying to get ahead abit. Have about 11 things in the proccess of being restored and ready for resale. This u-joint is one I have had laying in the parts barn for awhile. Possibly pic's tommorrow as I did take afew, but left the camera on the bench. Rod
