Default Radiator installation ????

When installing a new one do the 2 side tabs just set on the frame with spring on the top, middle or bottom? Also the radiator seem to have a lip on the front on both sides. Does it slide down into the lip on each side of the outer grille air deflector? Thanks in advance for your time and response!! This is for a 39 Deluxe

The radiator "tabs" are placed upon a piece of reinforced rubber with a 7/16" hole in the center. The rubber pad is about 1" x 1 1/2" x .125". The end drilled hex head bolt comes up from the bottom and goes through the frame, the rubber pad, the "tab", then the spring. A slotted head hex nut is then secured to the bolt. A cotter pin holds this from loosening up...
The "lips" you refer to do not get anything fastened or otherwise secured to them. The air deflectors, once installed, will come close to the radiator but not touch.

Thanks Kube, I left out the rubber pads in my post but do have them. I noticed looking down on the radiator and deflector it looked like they should hook together but I guess not. Thanks!!
