1938 fenders ??
IMG_00000133.jpg
IMG_00000134.jpgI have fenders for a 1938 standard and a 1938 deluxe I think? Can someone give me some insight on the pictures? I believe the blue one is a 1938 deluxe because of the way it drops off at the back and the black is a 1938 standard more of a slope at the back !! What do you guys think?? Thanks in advance Terry I have fenders for a 1938 standard and a 1938 deluxe I think? Can someone give me some insight on the pictures? Re: 1938 fenders ??
I am sure a 38 owner will chime in here but I think you have it backwards, my recollection is the std fender was the one with the more vertical rear. Wouldn't bet my life on it though, I never owned a 38 so this is just what I think I heard. I know, not much help.

38 Standard front fenders are also 37 Deluxe fenders. the pictures are hard to make out they both look like 38 deluxe.

Deuce roadster has it right,I believe.I didn't realize there was a difference until I sent a picture of a 38 Deluxe fender to a guy looking for a 38 std. and I was corrected!

"38 Ford Guy" needs to do more research, as he is wrong. It is very unusual that FoMoCo would make a special fender for these Standard models. |
