On a 69 mustang AC car (or any Ford car in the era with AC ),which heater hose does the water controll valve go on under the hood... On the hose heading to the waterpump or the heater hose heading to the intake manifold?

On a Y Block it goes from the manifold to the contol valve to heater, water from heater to waterpump.. Gerry
