I am currently working on a 1930 Closed Cab pickup. The cab started off as an AA cab that my father had re-done 35 years ago. I have since bought a "pickup" engine & chassis from a guy that was restoring a pickup but lost interest. I mounted the cab and it is about 3/4" to an 1" too far forward. The hood does not fit and the accelerator hits the firewall. Does anyone know the proper mounting position for a pickup cab? Is it possible the frame is from a car and the mounting holes are slightly different? Any help would be appreciated.
