One of our club members has a after-market turn signal on the Tudor he recently purchased. It is not operating correctly, and we are trying to remedy the problem (we think it is wiring).
I am trying to find a schematic and instructions for the unit. The unit has a couple of patent numbers, and some information has been found. However the info thus far is for a 3-wire unit, and his unit is 5-wire. It is similar in shape as a Signal-Stat. I also did a search on Fordbarn archieves, and have found numerous schematics and information, but none has matched the unit he has. Following is the info from the unit: All State 999 Sears-Roebuck & Co Simpson-Sears Ltd. SAE-Q Pat. No. 3,114,015 Patented 1964 Canada No. 684,104 5-wire Grn Red Yel Blk (this may be Blu-hard to tell) Gray The Canadian patent information yielded more information than the U.S. patent info. But as mentioned above, both were 3-wire. This is a 40-year old unit (or there-abouts), but I was wondering if any of the Fordbarners may have one, and may still have the instructions that came with it. We would appreciate a copy, and would be willing to compensate accordingly. Thanks, Ron/IA
