Glass kits

I’m thinking about ordering a glass kit from Sanders and Im debating whether to get a light green tint on the glass As I would be driving most of the time in bright sun light. Is there any reason I should not get the light green tint. I have a black 29 Tudor sedan and I thought it would look good with a light green tint? Any advice would be appreciated. Jerry

It is all a matter of choice unless you plan on having your car judged. Go with the tint!

I have one with clear and another with light green tint. Unless you look closely you don't notice it but it does take some of the glare off of objects around you as you drive. I prefer the tinted myself. If you go that route, be sure to get all the glass. That way it won't stand out.

I personally would always go with the slightly tinted for the minimal glare the only exception would be a fine point car then of course you gotta stay with the clear.

If you're in the U.S. the regulations for the allowable use of tinting is governed by the State where the vehicle is licensed - some definite differences.

I've seen the tinted glass sold by Snyders and others.There is a huge difference between that and the tinted glass that is outlawed.Tinted may even be too strong of a word for it.The closest thing that comes to mind is what Chevrolet had in the 50's.It just kind of smoothed over the glare from the sun,and a little from headlights.I think it was called,EZ EYE glass.I had it in a 55.My Tacoma has far more factory tint than the tinted glass offered by the vendors.
