Brassworks is usually a wait that is worthwhile but I am starting to get a little impatient after 4 months. I see they are having production problems with a foundry they used closing and the new foundry will not rehire workers due to "aggressive immigration" policies. The new foundry union cannot provide the required workforce. All this new US manufacturing coming in US gonna have to be AI or someone legal that can pass a drug test who also wants to work.

Does it need to be bang-on exact to OE or are you just needing a quality radiator?
If the latter, you could check with Johnson's. A B radiator wouldn't be a standard item, but I'd think they should be able to make one for you.

Did you check with Johnson's Radiator that took over the old Walker Radiator or with US Radiator? |

"Foundry problems"? I can't seem to remember a radiator with any cast parts. Please elucidate.
More "unintended consequences"? |

Brass/Black Model Ts Our longstanding foundry (supplier) closed and all production was shifted to a neighboring foundry. Apparently many of the closed foundry's workers were ineligible for rehire by the new foundry due to more aggressive immigration enforcement and the union has no employees to provide. As of 2-20-25, we should receive castings in March 2025 and can resume production then. In the interim, we have been working with our one-off foundry to have pattern boxes made and these are trickling in in smaller batches and we will produce what we can. |

Model "T" filler necks are cast? I did not know that. I'm not as old as I thought.
Pretty lame excuse for the rest of the line, since the O/P was asking about a Model "B" radiator. |

I'm afraid that Mom & Pop businesses of all sorts are going to bear the brunt of this new reality.

I waited a year for a 32 Ford V8 Flathead radiator, sure hope it was worth it. They get the money up front for custom builds so your at their mercy. Still in the box so will know in a few weeks?

T filler necks are not cast, but the upper and lower hose connections to the upper and lower tanks are castings. FYI.

I needed a radiator for my AV8 roadster. It needed to have different spaced bottom outlets. US Radiator built it to my specs and is has been an excellent radiator. Good folks to deal with.
Happy Easter To All John

I will go ahead and ask. Does anyone know for a fact that a 32 truck radiator will work in a 32 coupe model B. Has anyone purchased a US radiator made radiator for a truck and installed it in a car. thanks

I've had a radiator made by Custom Auto Radiator. Nice quality. They may be a possibility.
