That’s a nice car, and a luxury one for its day. My folks had a 62 Lincoln, I remember looking at the Merc’s on the showroom floor when they bought it.

My Pop thought about the big Mercury that year but he purchased a Meteor with the 260 V8 instead. That car was the first we ever had that was air conditioned. It was an under dash unit but at least it had AC and a V8. He traded his gutless 1960 Comet off for that car.
