Default Inspecting a Zenith

Car was having carburetor issues so I pulled it down.
Removed the air maze filter, throat of choke had a sticky buildup of old gas. Main jet was almost plugged and the float was too high, 2 gaskets under the gross jet.
That was the usual things I find.
I bead blasted the body with walnut shells, then inspected both for cracks. After I found the crack, I decided to see how flat the surface was. The pictures tell the story. I'll be saving this one for show and tell.
This carb was mounted to a B intake, the gav tube was bent badly.
