S/W Windshield Frame Installation

Hi All,
When installing the windshield frame is there a different gasket for a S/W that goes between the wood header and frame hinge? I ordered a frame & hinge gasket for a S/W but it just doesn’t seem like that also would go between the hinge and wood header.

Do you have the correct gasket?
The gasket for the 1931 S/W is a different gasket. See the below link to the correct gasket sold by Bratton's, and the installation instructions.

It’s been awhile since Ive installed one
I do remember that the gasket was NOT a perfect fit; a bit too big

@160B the link from Brattons is exactly what I have. I just wanted to make sure that was all I needed. It didn’t look like it was correct for the hinge.

They designed the hinge gasket on the slant cars to be thicker, since their was no sun visor, they anticipated it would be more likely to leak.

The gasket naturally tends to hold water as shown by the blue arrows, so use plenty of sealant between the gasket and the header, and between the gasket and the windshield frame.

When I did my windshield on my 160 B I used big stretch sealant in black. It is water clean up and I have never had a leak.
