Default 1940 ford vent windows

I think but I'm not sure but are the 40 standard and deluxe vent windows the same? Can the standards be used in the deluxe?

It looks like if you are just talking about just the glass with metal frameing and pivot, it can. Looking in the 1940 Ford and Mercury Body Parts List july 1940 when listing just this part, they show that part number fitting -A (std) and -B deluxe. If you are talking about the whole entire window frame with weather strip, the weather strip is different lengths for V8 (std) and deluxe..

Yes, just referring to the glass and metal framing and pivot, I believe the coupes and sedans are the same either for the (standard) V8 or deluxe but the weather strip would be different in length because the frames would be different in length. But want to be sure.
